Perrigo Company (NASDAQ: PRGO) announced today that Todd Kingma has joined the company as Vice President & General Counsel, replacing Jack Nichols who will be retiring next year after 10 years as General Counsel and 20 years as outside counsel to Perrigo while a partner of Law, Weathers & Richardson of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Mr. Kingma comes to Perrigo from Pharmacia, now Pfizer Inc., where he spent 12 years in a variety of legal assignments including Vice President & Associate General Counsel. He was responsible for all legal matters of the Pharmacia Global Specialty Operations, which included the Animal Health, Consumer Healthcare, Diagnostic, and bulk chemical and contract manufacturing businesses. Before joining Pharmacia, Kingma was an attorney with Dykema Gossett in Grand Rapids.
